Tara Redwood School
Purpose Tara Redwood School was established to provide a curriculum which incorporates the universal education of loving kindness found in Buddhist principles, with an opportunity for each child to fully explore their own particular area of interest. Our purpose is to encourage our students' various talents as well as their emotional and inner development. Program The program is designed for children from preschool through fourth grade. Our curriculum is Montessori based in a multi-aged, open classroom setting. We also incorporate other educational approaches in order to meet the needs of all the children. Our program includes a stimulating math and language curriculum, as well as a rich arts and science program. We also provide a variety of special interest teachers from the community in the fields of science, art, music and physical education. For
