This text contains extensive teachings on the nature of mind, the development of shamata and vipashyana, sutra and tantra levels of mahamudra, and the compatibility of dzogchen and anuttara-yoga tantra. Amongst the many topics covered are; generation & completion stage yogas of highest yoga tantra, the six yogas of Nigyuma, the Drikung Kagyud’s “possesing the five”, the four syllables, Padampa Sangye’s “the pacifier”, Machig Labdron’s “chö”, ordination lineages, commentary on the Mahamudra lineage prayer, and a teaching on relative and absolute bodhichitta in sutra & tantra.
