Healing 8:00am -
9:00am,
Daily Prayers made
to the Eight Medicine Buddhas are especially powerful because of the
extensive vows they took to benefit sentient beings. In this beautiful
practice, we recite names of the Buddhas, make offerings to them and chant
the mantra so as to invoke their blessings. An extensive dedications
follows, for people with health problems, business successes and specific
requests. If you would
like us to dedicate for a specific person or project, please contact us.
We request a donation for this service, towards the offerings for the puja
as well as Sangha Support at Land of Medicine Buddha. Please give your
contribution and dedication to the office. For more information about the Medicine Buddha Puja, click HERE For more information about the Medicine Buddha, Click here. Join Us for Healing Movement at Land of

with Amey Amey Matthews has been practicing yoga
since 1994; she received her first teaching certificate from the White Lotus
Foundation in 1999. She currently studies primarily Iyengar Yoga with Kofi Busia. Amey says, “In teaching yoga, it is my
goal to impart to my students a sense of enthusiasm, curiosity, and acceptance
towards their practice. I try to share the elements of yoga which have most held
my attention, and which have helped me to feel increasingly optimistic about
myself, others, and the world at large with each year that I practice yoga.” What to Expect: Classes generally include yogic
philosophy, breath exercises, flowing sun salutations, and static postures held
for strength and flexibility. Students new to yoga are always welcome and will
not be encouraged to push past their limits. Cost: $10 per session For more information about Amey, go to www.yogawithamey.com
